No Texting While Driving For Federal Employees

President Obama just recently passed a law that federal government employees cannot text while they are driving. A couple stipulations are that they can't text while using government vehicles or cell phones and they cannot text in their own cars with personal phones if they are conducting federal business. The Obama administration also plans to extend this law to truck drivers who travel across state borders for the safety of everyone on the road. I think this is a good idea, but I am not sure how it will be enforced. It seems like it is not planned too well.

  1. It is a good idea but there is no real way of enforcing it. Why would federal agents text government business over their personal cell phones? Couldn't the phone companies read text messages that have been sent through their network if they want? if that is true then phone companies could have had important government information passed through their network.
